China regulates use of state-owned cultural relics


China will forbid state-owned organizations from gifting, leasing or promoting any of their assortment of cultural heritage assets and property, the finance ministry stated Wednesday.

This comes amid the nation’s efforts to higher shield and make the most of state-owned cultural heritage assets and property, in accordance with a brief regulation collectively launched by the Ministry of Finance and Nationwide Cultural Heritage Administration.

Cultural heritage administration organizations are prohibited from utilizing cultural relics as collateral or making abroad funding, says the regulation.
